What are these weird bumps on my phal's bulb?

I usually lurk but I think my plant might be sick, a handful of Google searches and an hour of browsing through orchid forums and I feel no closer to having a definitive idea of what's up with my plant. Maybe you guys can help?

Today I noticed that along with a new baby leaf, my phal has some little dark brown bumps. They are completely dry and most have tiny grayish numbs in the middle... Almost like a dried out blister. I'll attach a photo.

At first I thought rot but I thought rot was supposed to be a bit damp and have a more sunken in look? Any insight is appreciated...

If it is rot... Too late for an anti-rot treatment? These spots are only on the crown, not the leaves, which seems out of order for rot.

    Thank you!!

To me they look more like a mechanical injury like damage during repotting or being dropped. Any pet birds in the house that could have taken a nibble?

    Phew!

No pet birds but it lives outside, so I suppose little creatures could get at it if they want to. Although... Now that you mention it... It's possible that I dropped it about two weeks ago when I moved it for watering....
