I just bough a phalaenopsis today at Lowe’s. I repotted it, and it turns out a lot of rotted roots, and most roots are gone. There are few good roots. Will this plant survive?

Post 1: Yes, it can survive, but a lot will depend on how you care for it going forward.

Tell us more about your growing conditions, experience with orchids, available supplies, etc., and maybe we can help.

Post 2: Probably not, but "food spikes" doesn't tell us much about the particular product in mind.
