Yam. Queen Adelia X Epi Cindy

    4 inflos in various stages of bloom, flowers about 1.5" to 2" across.
    much better bloom this year, i like it now :)

    does anyone know the parents of or what makes up Yamada (?) Queen Adelia and Epi Cindy. ??

    Easy question. Epi. Cindy is a sym for Enc. Cindy (tampensis X alata). The Yamada should be Yamadaara which is a sym for Maumeneara Queen Adalia (Rhyncattleanthe Orange Nuggatt X Bergmanara Sammie Evans).

    the tag say's Yam. so i guessed Yamada..now i have a headache over the name.

    i like Encyclia Cindy better - Yamadaara not so much - Thnx Clark !!

    i have not sniffed it but i will today.

    That sounds good. Everytime we buy a new hybrid with some STOOPID new name, we'll just name it something WE like. And can pronounce, too.

    I like the name Rossitonia Gator Duncan, but it has already been used.

    Bran.ty, I already made it to the hotel. Look it up on RHS, its a real orchid hybrid named for MJ.
