I got this lovely plant in 2006 as a Japanese import. This year is its second blooming for me. It is a splendid indigo-blue colour and has a fabulous sweet fragrance which to me smells much more like Neofinetia than Rhynchostylis. Interestingly, the fragrance is only present in the daytime, a Rhynchostylis trait but not so much a Neofinetia one. Its leafspan is 22cm and it makes copious long (50cm) roots. I grow it suspended in air without media. Highly recommended! Parentage: Neostylis Lou Sneary (Neofinetia falcata x Rhynchostylis coelestis) x Vanda coerulea.
