From Trader Joe's last year. On a whim I decided to try re-blooming it. Two spikes flowering now and two on the way. In semi-hydro. The fragrance on these is extraordinary. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1482699571.369996.jpg

Nice. I have considered getting one of the hybrids just because of the wonderful fragrance.
Does anyone know which species provides the fragrance gene. I have Z. maxillare and there zero fragrance that I can detect.

I think it's Zygopetalum mackayi that gives fragrance.
